Our Mission

The New England Competitive Sailing Center (NECSC), has been established to train and educate disabled individuals, and other competitive sailors, to the opportunities available in the amateur sport of sailing and sailboat racing. 

 Our Organization

The organization will be funded by memberships, fund raising events, donations, corporate giving/sponsorships and we will seek federal, state and local grant monies.

 The monies raised through corporate sponsored events will be distributed to the winners of NECSC sanctioned events. These funds will be set-aside in an account for the winners to aid in the associated training expenses incurred in readiness for the upcoming Paralympic Games. Competitors must be members of NECSC to be eligible for prize monies and access to the financial assistance account of the organization.

 The center will also be open to able-bodied sailors to ensure that the disabled members will be offered the widest variety of skill and competition.  Able-bodied members are not eligible for access to any prize monies from the financial assistance account of the organization.
